Aka- 25 things.

1) I'm a Christian

2) In ASL I feel like I've finally found my calling. I find the language to be beautiful, and I think that the history and culture of the Deaf is absolutely fascinating.

3) Musicals mean a lot more to me than people know. Something about telling a story (literally) with music moves me in a way nothing else can. Sure songs tell a story...but musicals are different. They make me so happy.

4) I can be very laid back, and very stubborn.

5) At any given moment in time, I am having an internal argument that I usually can't resolve. It usually centers around past experiences and choices. I feel like I've always made the wrong ones, with a few exceptions.

6) My sympathy gets me in trouble often. It makes me want to believe everyone. Even my worst enemy could come up to me and tell me something horrible and sad, and I'd want to believe it and help.

7) I have a defense mechanism that saves me from myself for number 6. And even more so when I am being too trusting. I never want to believe that someone is telling a lie, even if the evidence is right in front of me that they are. My defenses make it possible to filter them, even though it goes against my nature.

8) I always connect little things to one another. I marvel over the small happenings in life that have resulted in something so life altering for me and my family. The little steps it took to get somewhere. Like the first time I heard of one of my best friends, I was told I'd hate her. (a bad example...but I'm tired)

9) My mind works in a bizarre way that makes no sense to anyone else. My logic doesn't work for anyone other than me.

10) I cry easily because there is a lot of heartbreak in this world that can't be fixed.

11) Feeling helpless is torture for me.

12) My comfort food is generally something spicy. Like fresh salsa with fresh jalapenos.

13) I would still sing if you pushed play.

14) I am forever grateful to my school and to my job even though I hate them both, because they gave me some of the best people in my life.

15) I haven't written in a long time, but I keep feeling like I should be, and every day that I don't, I'm wasting time in doing something important.

16) I can't live without cats. I've tried it, and it depresses me.

17) Whenever I can get the time and money, I will take ballet. My sister has always told me it would be a shame to not do anything with such nice legs (<3 seester)

18) College has taught me that I do not enjoy school. I like learning, but I'm a really unorganized person, and that isn't condusive to a good college career.

19) I've finally begun taking things that hurt me in the past and applying them in my life as learning tools and ways I can mature and grow.

20) I'm getting married in 8 months, and it's scary because I still feel like it isn't real, and I'm going to wake up and be an awkward 14 year old that hates herself.

21) Instead I just wake up and realize I'm an awkward 22 year old that hates herself.

22) Serial killers have always interested me in a very morbid way, and I have always studied them, and been intrigued by the psychology behind what they do. Jack the Ripper is my favorite. Because it is still unsolved.

23) I discovered growing up really sucks because that's when you are told all of your family's secrets.

24) I still keep in my heart the 'real' Atticus.

25) I forever appreciate the extra miles my friends have walked for me over the years. I love each and every one of you. For taking cracks out of the walls, for making me laugh when I need it, for giving me two when I say seven...and on and on. Thank you <3


Just 25 random things. I think they were supposed to be more about my personal thoughts or something...I unno. I'm really tired and I'm not even sure much of this made any sense.
